These cookies are simple to make and utterly butterly delicious! Most cookies call for unsalted butter but salted butter adds its own oomph to the cookies!
• 200 gms All Purpose Flour
• 100 gms Powdered Sugar
• 150 gms Butter (salted) (I used President butter)
Cream the butter and powdered sugar till light and fluffy. Sift in the flour. Gently knead into soft dough. Cover with cling film and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or so.
Divide the dough into 12 portions of 38 gms each. Shape them and use a stamp if you have. If you don’t have a stamp, you can make an impression with a fork.
Preheat the oven to 120 deg C. Bake for 10-14 mins. The oven I use has top and bottom baking. So I did 7 minutes each. Turn off the oven and let the cookies remain in the oven till the oven reaches room temperature. This will crisp up the cookies
