Chillie-Mustard-Honey Chicken Drumsticks

This is Chef Sanjay Rodrigues’ recipe which I have tweaked. It is an absolutely no fuss recipe. I made this for my niece who doesn’t like spicy food. To cut the heat, I deseeded the red chillies.


Collect it:


· 6 chicken drumsticks

· 5 tbsp English Mustard paste

· 1 tbsp red chillie flakes

· 1 tsp oregano

· 1 tsp thyme

· 1 tsp basil

· 2 tbsp lemon juice

· 3 tbsp oil

· 2 tbsp honey

· salt to taste

· 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

· 2 potato, cut in roundels

Make it:

Clean and make gashes in the chicken drumsticks. Set aside.

In a bowl mix all the ingredients and apply generously over the chicken drumsticks and potato slices and let it rest for an hour. I let it rest 24 hours. Longer the better.

Set the oven to 200 deg. Celsius. Preheat the oven. Bake for at least 40 mins or till done
