Chocolate Mousse Pots

Chocolate Mousse is something that looks laborious. Here’s something that is quick and easy.
Collect it:
• 250 ml fresh cream
• 2 tbsp rum
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 cup chocolate, cut to small pieces
(I didn’t have cooking chocolate so
used Cadburys milk chocolate)
• 1 tbsp butter
• Transparent glasses / goblets
• 3 packets of Oreo biscuits
• Mint to garnish
Make it:
Remove the cream of the Oreo biscuits and crush the biscuits to a powder. Set aside. I used a mortar and pestle to do it but you could use a mixer grinder.
Mix rum and brown sugar till it dissolves and set aside. You can omit this if its for kids.
Pour cream in a pan and heat. DO NOT BOIL. Put off the flame just before boiling point. Let it cool. Add chocolate and stir. The chocolate will melt in the heat of the cream. Add the rum-sugar mixture (optional) and mix well. Add butter and mix well.
Spoon the mixture in glasses and let it set for three hours.
Spoon the Oreo biscuit powder on the top in a thick layer to resemble mud. Add a mint leaf in the center.
