· 125 grams sugar (powdered)
· 150 grams Ghee (clarified butter)
· 220 grams All-pupose flour
· Pinch Baking powder
· 1/2 tsp Salt
· 1/4 tsp Vanilla essence
· Glazed cherries or tutti frutti (cut into small pieces for decoration, optional)
Add the vanilla essence.
Add in the flour, baking powder and salt.
Combine well till a smooth dough is formed.
COVER the dough and leave it aside for at-least 30 minutes to 1 hour. After 30 minutes to 1 hour, gently knead the dough.
PREHEAT oven at 300 deg f (150 deg c). Make round balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Top each snowball with a cherry / tutti frutti (optional).
BAKE them exactly for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Let the snowballs cool on the tray for few minutes until you are able to remove them off the tray. Cool completely on a cooling rack.
STORE in an air tight container. Serve as required!
Use 1 tbsp of the mix, will give you about 27-28 pieces. Bake them for 10 minutes. Do not over bake them.
The bottom of the snowballs should not get browned. Over baking them will tend to change the color of the snowballs.
